Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Featuring the signatures of Montreal’s most iconic pairing, we have a limited-edition stick signed by legendary superstar Jean Beliveau with a trio of signed Montreal Canadiens pucks, along with a second stick signed by the most important of former Habs, Maurice Richard. The Beliveau stick was made specifically to commemorate his 500th goal which occurred against Minnesota on Feb 11th 1971, with graphics across the shaft stating the particulars, with big Jean adding a perfect signature to the front side of the blade in blue sharpie, with the limited-edition handwritten number of “73/500”. A hologram has been placed near the number, with just light handling wear to the stick itself. The Richard stick is a Sher-Wood model with “Willett” stamped over the shaft, with Maurice signing the front side of the blade in marker. With no issues for the signature, the stick exhibits light wear, with some minor rubbing to the identifiers. The pucks all are identical InGlasCo models with Habs logos, with Jean signing each above the logo in silver, adding his HOF induction year to a pair.
