Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

Classic collectibles here have had but one owner and include 14 just back from PSA in nice scratch-free holders. NM 7 highlights include 30-Ed Mathews and 50-Yogi Berra (OC), as well as 7-Kluszewski, 15-Rosen, 35-Gilliam, 80-Jensen and 85-Turley RC. Also at NM 7 are 104-Sandlock, 105-Carey, 106-Kokos and 203-Brecheen, while other star power is 36-Wilhelm (EX-MT 6), 37-Ford (EX 5) and 20-Spahn (GOOD 2). Ted Williams and Jackie Robinson lead the raw lineup but have condition issues, (described on our website), with 13-Martin and 17-Rizzuto at EX and 45-Ashburn and 102-Hodges (both VG), other most notables. The remainder are mostly in the VG-EX to EX range, with some lesser and include the likes of Lopat, Runnells, Roe, Haddix, Shantz, Easter, Kuenn RC and other more memorable performers. A swell stack to be discovered and enjoyed.
The Jackie Robinson is low grade with multiple surface scuffs but no creases, while a couple of small creases in the Ted Williams example are joined on the front by indentations which appear to be two-digit numbers resembling "72" and "31", (in Ted's hands and shoulder region), with a similar two-inch vertical indentation "line" rising up through his left eye to attain the top of his cap. All this, not all that evident when viewing the card straight-on at arm's length.
