Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Narrowly edged out of being awarded the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s most valuable player in 1990, Ray Bourque remains the all-time leading goal scorer for defenceman, with 410 career goals. This stick was used by the HOFer in the early-1990s. A Sher-Wood PMP 7030 model, “Bourque 77” factory graphics appear on the upper shaft, with the stick retaining its original black tape over the blade and white on the shaved handle. The stick exhibits light to moderate use, with some wear to the blade and lower shaft, with some paint transfer over the taped handle. Bobby Hull has also signed over the heel section in black marker, with a bit of loss due to the rough surface.
