Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
A product of Portland in the WHL, Jason Wiemer was drafted in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft in 1994, with time spent in Calgary, Minnesota, New Jersey and elsewhere. We have a New York Islanders jersey that was worn by the Kimberely native during the 2002-03 NHL pre-season and in 4 regular season games through October 30th 2002. Size “58” labeling graces the collar, with KOHO and NHL crests over the back neckline and reverse bottom hem respectively. Styled with the familiar Long Island team crest with embroidered detailing, the navy “Training Camp” V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with an alternate patch over the right shoulder. Marks are visible over the sleeves and lower front band, with board burns with resulting holes over and near the right elbow. The team patch sits over the inside hem along with an example from MeiGray numbered “A02424”, with a matching LOA to accompany.
