Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
The 2008-09 NHL season was kicked off with a series of four games played in Europe, with a pair of games played by Pittsburgh and Ottawa in Stockholm Sweden, along with a pair played by the New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning in Prague Czech Republic. This Penguins jersey was worn by Paul Bissonnette during the games played on Oct 4th and 5th. CCM size “58” tagging sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a large and in-charge Penguins team crest, the solid black V-neck has been adorned with textured triple-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Bissonnette” across the nameplate in matching material. Penguins’ equipment manager Dana Heinze has signed the fight strap, with the team patch residing just below, while the important “NHL Premiere Stockholm” patch rests just above the right breast. Game-wear is light, with just a few random marks present.
