Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
While it’s hard to imagine purchasing but never opening any food product, the thought of letting a perfectly good beer go to waste seems almost criminal. And while that appears to be the case with the offered lot, this particular “cold one” was actually saved by an intelligent individual due to the reverse label advertising the famous 1972 Summit Series! A 12 oz Labatt’s 50 Ale, the 6 ½” beer bottle remains unopened, with the delicious contents still fully intact. The Canada/U.S.S.R. label remains fully affixed and clean with no issues, with just some discolouration to the sealed cap. Expected sediment is visible within the bottom of the bottle, with an 8 ½” x 11” copy of a Labatt’s flyer advertising the bottles included. This lot can only be shipped within Canada.
