The late Jean Beliveau is among the 14 members of the 1963-64 Montreal Canadiens who have signed his team-signed CCM game-used stick. Fellow deceased HOFer Bernie “Boom” Boom Geoffrion has also signed among the 15 autographs here, HOF defenseman Jacques Laperriere signed twice. The late John Ferguson and J.C. Tremblay are also featured in the black ballpoint ink signatures along the front of the shaft of Big Jean’s CCM Custom Pro stick, which has "Beliveau 4" stamped high on the shaft with the “McNiece’s” stamp further down. Beliveau’s original tape jobs are on the knob and blade, which has nice wear on the bottom edge of the heel. Comes with a COA for the signatures.
The stick is also signed by Bobby Rousseau, Claude Provost, Ralph Backstrom, Bill Hicke, Terry Harper, Red Berenson, Jean-Guy Talbot, Bryan Watson and Charlie Hodge.
More game use shows in black marks and red goalpost paint transfer. There is a chip on the upper edge of the toe of the blade, and another low on the shaft just above the heel on the backhand side. The horizontal crack along the lower edge of the blade from the toe appears to be separation of the wood that is frequently observed in older wooden hockey sticks.
