Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
HOF center Marcel Dionne remains one of the highest-scoring players in NHL history with career totals of 731 goals, 1,040 assists and a jaw-dropping 1,771 points in 1,348 games with Detroit, Los Angeles and the New York Rangers. Dionne’s 1986-87 Sher-Wood game-used stick with his original tape jobs on the knob and blade and a "9 Jan 1987" factory date stamp low on the back of the shaft is either one of the last gamers he used with the Kings or one of the first he used with the Broadway Blue Shirts, who acquired him in a March 10, 1987 trade with L.A. Nice wear to the bottom edge of the white tape on the blade, which displays plenty of black puck marks.
"Dionne 16" is stamped on the shaft and "16" is handwritten on the knob.
