Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
With his current status as the NHL’s premiere player unchallenged, items pertaining to Sidney Crosby are hugely desirable, with actual specimens used or made for the phenom at the top of the list. We have a pair of prototype/sample gloves for the 2009 NHL All-Star Game that were made for Crosby. Produced by Reebok and in solid deep blue with red and white accents, “All Star 2009” is screened onto each wrist guard, with a small leather patch with “Crosby” embroidered affixed to each. Never seeing action, both gloves remain in gorgeous condition. Crosby was sidelined due to injury, and didn’t play in the 2009 All-Star Game. Additional labels grace the interior section of each glove along with a numbered hologram affixed to the right glove, with a matching COA to accompany.
