Jack Darragh was in his second of thirteen big-league seasons with his hometown Ottawa Senators, (he scored against Georges Vezina in his first game the previous year!), when he appeared on this Imperial Tobacco card. The right winger had scored 18 goals in 16 games in 1910-11 to help the Sens to Lord Stanley’s silverware and was still going when Ottawa captured three Cup titles in the early-1920s. In the summer of 1924 though, Darragh died of a ruptured appendix. Impressive eye-appeal with this example of card #17, with PSA rating it VG+ 3.5. Great chance to add this Hall of Famer's rookie card to your pre-war/tobacco card shrine.
