A wonderful lot for the collectors of autographed spheres, we have a group of 6 team-signed baseballs hailing from the 1970s to 1990s, with examples from Montreal, Seattle and Boston. The first ball originates from the early-1970s Red Sox, with approx. 19 signatures present in a mix of inks, with the Reach AL Cronin ball exhibiting some dirt staining and toning. Signers include Lasko, Peters, Smith, Montgomery, Kennedy, Tatum and others. The second ball is a Rawlings AL MacPhail example, with approx. 24 signatures present from the circa-1978 Seattle Mariners including Stanton, Reynolds, Bryant, Jones, Montague, Braun, Baez and others. The signatures remain bold, with light dirt staining to the ball. Next, we have a Rawlings AL MacPhail example, with approx. 20 signatures present from the circa-1979 Seattle Mariners including Valentine, Bannister, Dressler, Meyer, Jones, Simpson, Roberts and others, with some spotting to the ball. A pair from the 1992 Expos follow, with both souvenir “Expos” balls having ballpoint signatures that remain dark, with 14 on one ball including Carter, Martinez, Fassero, Alou, Hill, Grissom and others, and 12 on the other including Grissom, Alou, Hill, Carter, Martinez, Fassero and others. Both balls exhibit light toning. Lastly, we have an early-1980s souvenir Expos ball signed by approx. 27, with some signatures completely faded. Included are Carter, Speier, Wallach, Rapp, Smith, Lea, Burris and others. Also included is a single-signed Gary Carter souvenir Expos ball, signed in ballpoint with a notation, with the ball fairly clean, along with an early-1970s Twins ball that features stamped facsimile signatures, with some even toning to the ball. A Rawlings Feeny 12-count display box is also included, and it remains in very good condition.
