Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A product of the University of Maine, Bob Corkum was selected by Anaheim in the 1993 NHL Expansion Draft, with seasons to follow in New Jersey, LA, Buffalo, Atlanta and Phoenix. This Coyotes jersey was worn by the Massachusetts native during the 1997-98 regular season, his second of three with the club. A Starter label and size “54-R” swatch sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Starter patches over the back bottom hem. Featuring an attractive multi-coloured Coyotes team crest along with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, “crescent moon” patches for the Coyotes and Goals for Kids have also been utilized, placed over each shoulder. A few marks are present over the lower front, with faint board burns over each upper sleeve. There are also two very small slits over the left elbow. The team patch sits on the inside hem, and according to the accompanying team LOA (a MeiGray COR will also be included), the jersey is a “Black 1997-98” example.
