Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
One of the last of the oldtime netminders to don a mask, Gump Worsley would appear in parts of 21 NHL seasons, playing his final game for Minnesota at the age of 44 in 1973-74. We have a wonderful framed display featuring the legendary keeper. At roughly 17 ½” x 21 ½”, three inserted black and white photos picture Gump, with a signed and encapsulated 1967-68 Topps PSA/DNA Authentic Auto rookie card placed within the bottom left just above an engraved metal place listing Worsley’s career honours. Signed in what appears to be fiber-tip marker, the signature is large and displays well, with just light wear to the frame itself. An LOA will accompany.
