Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Fresh off a noteworthy cross check to Sidney Crosby during the 2016-17 NHL playoffs, we have a Pittsburgh Penguins Set 1 home jersey worn by Matt Niskanen during his final season in Pennsylvania, in 2013-14. Size tagging is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the Pens team crest that saw use from 2002-2016, the solid black V-neck has been accented with textured tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Just light wear is visible on the jersey, with a team repair situated over the left elbow. A JerseyTRAK chip has been inserted just above the Dana Heinz (equipment manager) signed fight strap, while the team patch has been affixed along the inside hem, with an LOA from the Penguins organization to accompany along with photos plus additional documents from JerseyTRAK.
