Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018

The late Lorne “Gump” Worsley signed both his trapper and blocker from his set of 1973-74 Minnesota North Stars game-used gloves, the last ones he used during his Hall of Fame career! The Gumper won the Calder Trophy with the Rangers in 1952-53 and four Stanley Cup titles with the Canadiens in the late-1960s. These old school Cooper GM-12 trapper and blocker gloves are from his North Stars swan song. “Lorne ‘Gump’ Worsley” read his blue ballpoint autographs at the top of the blocker and on the rear cuff of the trapper, which has “Gump” handwritten in block letters above it. “Gump” is also handwritten in blue inside the cuff of the trapper. Awesome old-school look with a Hall of Fame pedigree!
