Especially attractive in both it’s vintage styling along with the intricate and well-designed Indian head team crest, we have a Kamloops Chiefs circa 1976-77 jersey, and it’s been attributed to Led Dies. A mainly detached Rawlings sizing label sits affixed to the collar, with “76” handwritten in ballpoint along the left side. Styled with the aforementioned multi-coloured team crest with embroidered detailing, the vintage durene also features dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with six eyelet configuration on tie-neck construction. Modern-style green and orange sleeve bands have also been utilized, with an orange collar and lower green band. Len Dies played for the Chiefs in both 1975-76 and 1976-77 and is listed as wearing #16 in 1976-77.
Heavy game wear is immediately apparent on the desirable uniform, with a ton of stick and puck marks littering the front and sleeves, with a number of team repairs also present including large linen-backed examples on the lower verso section. Numerous holes that haven’t been addressed are also present, with these examples mostly isolated to the sleeves.
