Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Perfect pairing of a vintage Habs player jacket and the penmanship of the entire team across a meal menu from a trip on the rails! Obtained on board during the late-Sixties by a CN Rail employee, this dining car menu features the bold, ballpoint ink signatures of the Montreal Canadians who skates through their second dynasty: Beliveau, Tremblay, Ferguson, Worsley, Lemaire, Vachon, Laperriere, Savard, Henri Richard, Cournoyer... they are all here! 21 sigs in total. The Larry Hillman autograph proves this piece hails from the 1968-69 season. Flip the piece over and order your breakfast! The light team-issued red nylon jacket features the team supplier McNiece's tagging in the neck and a cool chain-stitched team emblem at the chest (measures out to be approximately size 46). Snap-front style with knit cuffs and collar is in well-worn condition with no damage other than paint wear at the snaps. Perfect for a darling display!
