Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Donning the number “62” for the first 7 games (including only 3 road games) of his impressive rookie season that witnessed 78 points including 28 goals, Paul Stastny then adopted his father’s famous “26”, while also earning All-Rookie honours during his inaugural campaign. We have an Avalanche road sweater worn by Paul Stastny early in his first season, in 2006-07. Size 58 tagging remains affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the familiar Avs team crest, the V-neck sweater has been accented with textured sleeve and verso numbers, with matching Bigfoot alternate crests over each shoulder. A patch from MeiGray numbered D08798 sits on the inside hem with a matching LOA to accompany, and according to their population report, the garment is a “White Set 1” example.
Game-wear on the sweater is light, with just a few random marks over each sleeve. We should also note that a second LOA along with the aforementioned example will accompany.
