Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
A participant in two NHL All-Star Games, winger Glen Murray spent time during his 16 season career with Boston twice, along with Pittsburgh and Los Angeles. We have a Kings jersey worn by the Halifax native in 2001-02. A cut label along with a size “58” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered KOHO and NHL crests on the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with an attractive and textured Kings team crest, the black V-neck has been accented with oversized dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers in matching material. The 2002 NHL All-Star Game crest resides over the right breast, along with the memorial patch for Garnet E. 'Ace' Bailey and Mark Bavis over the left. The team patch sits on the inside hem with circled initials from equipment manager Peter Millar, and it denotes the garment as a “Set 1” example. Visible game-wear includes marks on the lower front along with board burns with small resulting holes over each sleeve. There is also a roughly 3” tear to the right of the team crest. An LOA from the Kings will accompany, along with a COR from MeiGray.
