Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
An Olympic gold medalist in 1992, defenceman Vladimir Malakhov first plied his trade in his native Russia with both HC Spartak Moscow and HC CSKA Moscow before moving onto the NHL where he primarily saw action with Montreal. We have a Canadiens jersey worn by the Sverdlovsk native in 1999-00, his last season with the club. Pro Player tagging sits along the collar, with embroidered NHL and Pro Player crests on the back bottom hem. Fashioned with the most famous team crest in hockey partially embroidered over the chest, the white V-neck has been embellished with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the NHL 2000 crest over the right breast. Game-wear includes just a few marks over the lower front, along with a few additional examples over each sleeve. An LOA from the Canadiens signed by Rejean Houle will accompany.
