Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Exhibiting moderate handling and wear and at times heavy are these two lots, with however a real good start to a 1965-66 Topps set present. Shy of the big names and most of the important rookie cards, the stack of just over one hundred is strong on VG examples, highlighted by team cards of the Canadiens, Leafs and Wings, with clear glue residue spotted on the back of the Hawks team card and tape stains on the front of the Bruins. Two checklists are present but marked, while an Yvan Cournoyer RC is G. At P-F is #122-Howe 600 Goals. Meanwhile, additional wear/flaws are observed on the '67-68 cards, with pen marks (4) and back damage (4) spotted on a few and the overall average in the G to G+ range. A few Hall of Famers but mostly commons.
