Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017

A nice little collection of vintage programs are up for grabs, highlighted by an example featuring Maurice Richard in the line-up during his rookie season. Three of the examples are from MSG, with a pair for the Rangers and a single example for the NY Americans, along with a single Forum program. The Richard rookie program hails from a Nov 10th match against the Rangers in 1942, with The Rocket listed in the intact line-up page. There is fairly heavy wear present, with a large section of one page torn out. There is also some edge and surface wear, but despite these flaws, it remains visually pleasing. The second Rangers program features a contest against the Bruins on Nov 24th 1935, with a loose but present center line-up page, with a torn out section and moderate wear including the bottom right corner of the cover clipped. The third MSG example was produced for an Americans match-up against Detroit on Nov 17th 1940, with fairly heavy expected handling wear, along with a detached center fold. Lastly, the Forum program features Bill Durnan on the cover and hails from a battle against the Rangers in 1949-50, with the exact game lost to time as no center line-page is present. The covers remain attached to each other, but are detached from the program, with additional heavy wear to the interior including toning.
