Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Pioneered and developed by American inventor and engineer Frank Zamboni, his namesake ice resurfacer began seeing use in the NHL in the mid-20th century. White Rose Collectibles also furnished their own ice resurfacers, with miniature models produced in 1996 featuring each NHL team. We have a complete set of 26 in their original boxes, along with an example for the 1996 All-Star Game in Boston. Officially licensed by the NHL, each box measures roughly 2” x 4 ½” x 3 ½” (at the highest point), with each featured team's logo visible through cellophane. The majority of the boxes remain in especially pleasing condition with just light handling wear, with some slightly heavier wear to the flaps of the All-Star Game example.
