Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
For the Detroit Red Wings devoutest who THINKS they have everything, we have a neat trio of signed Motown items that will nicely augment any Detroit holdings. We have a signed Steve Yzerman retirement display, along with a framed photo and magazine signed by Vladimir Konstantinov. The Yzerman display features a 16” x 20” image of the HOFer, presumably leaving the ice for the final time, with a plaque placed below listing career stats. Yzerman has signed along the top, and the signature is stunning, double-matted and framed to full dimensions of 24 ¾” x 31”. The Konstantinov signed photo pictures the legend in full uniform, with a name plaque added below, and Red Wings pin above. Vladimir has added a beautiful signature, with the photo double-matted and framed to full dimensions of 17” x 21”.
The signed magazine is a copy of Hockeytown from 1997, with the Russian star adding a gold sharpie signature over his image. With just a few creases present, the magazine and signature survive in excellent condition. The Konstantinov display is also problem free, with a Stevie Y hologram added to the Yzerman display for assured authenticity.
