A prosperous time in Beantown hockey, the Bruins were able to advance twice to the Stanley Cup Finals in just three years between 2011 and 2013. This Boston Bruins jersey was worn by netminder Tuukka Rask in Game 1 (June 12th), Game 2 (June 15th) and Game 5 (June 22nd) of the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals, and it’s been photo-matched. With CCM “Goalie Style” size tagging in the collar including handwritten “40”, there’s also an additional Reebok patch on the back neckline. Styled in multi-coloured tackle twill including numbers with a gorgeous spoked-B team crest, the white tie-neck also sports matching Bruins patches over each shoulder, and the important Stanley Cup Finals patch over the right breast. A tag from MeiGray Group on the inside hem is numbered JH00294, and a matching LOA from the Bruins organization will accompany.
We should also note the handwritten “1” on the fight strap. Game-wear consists of dark marks on the front including over the team crest, with some very light paint transfer over the right sleeve. There is also some staining along the bottom reverse beneath the striping bands. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, Getty Image #171391779 from June 22nd 2003 has been matched to the black marks on the team crest and those that surround it.
