The sixth manned flight in the United States Apollo program and the second to land on the Moon, the Apollo XII mission launched from the Kennedy Space Center on Nov 14th 1969, with the lunar module landing at the precise, designated location, the site of the unmanned probe Surveyor 3, which set down in the spring of 1967. Presented is an attractive signed display featuring all three crew members posing in front of the lunar module, with Mission commander Charles "Pete" Conrad, Lunar Module Pilot Alan L. Bean and Command Module Pilot Richard F. Gordon. An 8” x 10” photo pictures the three astronauts all smiles, after a successful mission. Each has signed over his respective image in blue marker, and the signatures display well. “Apollo 12” has been handwritten below by Bean, with an Apollo XII crest affixed along the bottom center. Double-matted and framed to total dimensions of 11” x 14”, the historic piece will be accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
