This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
From his last of three seasons with the New York Rangers where he dressed for 82 games, we have a Rangers’ alternate captain’s jersey worn in 2001-02, along with a pair of gloves worn by Theoren Fleury in 1999-2000, his first season in Manhattan. The jersey features a CCM label with size “54” fly tag, with NHL and CCM crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in drop-shadow double-twill with matching sleeve and verso numbers, with the important 9/11 crest over the left shoulder. The gloves are Nike Air models in Rangers colours with all identifiers embroidered on, and they remain in gorgeous condition. Team LOAs along with CORs from MeiGray will accompany each of these items.
Game-wear on this tie-neck Rangers jersey includes dark marks on the lower front, repeated over each sleeve. There are also board burns present, with a few small resulting holes on the left sleeve near the striping band. A pair of team patches are also present along the inside hem, with both noting it’s “Set 2” status.
