Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
The first overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Taylor Hall has won gold while representing Canada at both the World Juniors and World Championships. After six seasons in his home province with Edmonton, Hall will start the 2016-17 NHL season as a New Jersey Devil. This helmet was worn by the young phenom in 2011-12, and it’s been photo-matched. A solid white Easton S19 model with all padding and strapping intact, identifiers have been screened-on, with matching Oilers decals over the upper portion of each side. A dual-colour “4” has been centered along the reverse, with a decal from the Oilers numbered 7286 near the left ear opening. Hall has signed along the top section in silver, and the signature is flawless. A team LOA will accompany.
Visible game-wear on the desirable head gear includes just a few random marks present, and it remains in beautiful condition, perfect for display. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, Getty Image #129187847 from Oct 13th 2011 has been matched to the greenish mark on the right side of the helmet. We should also note that the accompanying LOA mentions that this specific helmet was worn by Hall during the month of September and most of October 2011 in both practices and NHL road games. The helmet was not worn after Oct 25th 2011.
