Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
From his most productive NHL season in 1987-88, we have a Vancouver Canucks jersey worn by forward John LeBlanc. A partially sewn-over Maska Ultrafil tag remains affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest on the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive and partially chain-stitched Canucks team crest, the black V-neck has been accented with double-twill sleeve and verso numbers, continuing across the nameplate with “LeBlanc”. Game-wear consists of a few marks on the lower front along with pilling, with a single team repair over the right sleeve. This style Canucks sweater saw use from the mid-1980s until the mid-1990s, and is extremely desired and sought after by collectors.
