Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016

Russian forward Igor Korolev’s 1993-94 Blues game-worn jersey from his sophomore NHL season displays some really nice game wear! Black marks on the front and both sleeves testify to the hook-and-grab tactics of that era. Maska and Size 54 flag tags sit in the back of the neck, with Korolev’s number “38” handwritten at the top of the reverse of the Maska flag tag. Custom Crafted “Official St. Louis Blues 1st Set 1993-94 Season” team patch is heat-screened in blue inside the left rear hem along with number “34171” to its right. The BlueNote Authentics hologram sticker is applied inside the rear hem, to the left of the reverse of the embroidered NHL and CCM logos that show on the right rear outer hem. A bit of the yellow rubberized vinyl fabric on the numbers on the sleeves is missing, but it remains fully intact along with the blue and red twill on the bluenote crest on the front, the number 38 on the back and the surname letters on the nameplate on the back. More game wear shows in board burns on the sleeves, an unrepaired burn hole on the left sleeve on the stripes below the numbers, and a bit of red paint transfer to the left of the nameplate on the back.
