Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
From his last of four seasons spent in Alberta, we have Dustin Penner’s Edmonton Oilers jersey worn in 2010-11, and it’s been photo-matched. A label from Elite along with CCM size tagging has been affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the classic oil drop team crest, the white V-neck has also been adorned with triple-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the team patch residing on the inner hem. Game-wear includes a few marks on the lower front and over the sleeves, along with a large stick mark across the team crest. Some pilling is also present, with a small cut/slit near the left elbow. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, an included 8” x 10” photo has been matched to the long black mark through the team crest. A patch from MeiGray numbered H01298 has also been placed along the inside hem, and according to their population report, this garment is a “White Set #1” example. An LOA from the Oilers will accompany this desirable jersey.
