Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
One of the oldest football clubs in existence, the Saskatchewan Roughriders began life in 1910 as the Regina Rugby Club, playing at Taylor Field since 1936. The team can claim four Grey Cup championships throughout their history, with the latest title won in 2013. This attractive serving tray featuring the beloved club originates from 1963. At roughly 10” x 19” (including handles), the silver tray features a Roughriders quarterback encompassed by engraved team signatures, with “Saskatchewan Roughriders 1963” above. With very little wear to the surface along with its abundant size, the tray is perfect for display. A few scratches along with glue residue from a former label are present on the reverse, with the right side handle slightly loose.
