Currently the general manager of the Montreal Canadiens, defenceman Marc Bergevin had previously spent parts of 20 seasons in the NHL, playing for 8 different clubs including Detroit, St. Louis, Chicago and Pittsburgh. This Penguins jersey was worn by the Montreal native in his first season in Pennsylvania, 2000-01, in both the regular season and playoffs. A cut label with handwritten “3” - along with a size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with an embroidered NHL crest on the back bottom hem. Featuring a large and in-charge Penguins team crest, the solid black V-neck has been adorned with textured triple-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate patches over each shoulder.
