Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
A product of the Spokane Chiefs, Valeri Bure would spend 10 seasons in the NHL, finishing his career with 400 points in 621 games played. This Flames jersey was worn by the Russian star in 2000-01, and it’s been signed. A CCM label along with size “54” fly tag are visible along the collar, with an embroidered NHL crest on the back bottom hem. Styled with the familiar Flames team crest in triple-twill, the solid white V-neck has been accented with matching sleeve and verso numbers, with twin alternate patches over each shoulder. Game-wear includes a number of large stick marks on the lower front, along with additional marks over each sleeve. There are also a few board burns present, with a few tiny spots of red goal-post paint transfer over the right sleeve. Bure has added a large and flowing black marker signature to the top of the team crest, and it displays beautifully.
