Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016

From his sophomore NHL season, we have a Quebec Nordiques jersey worn by Swedish superstar Mats Sundin, and it’s been photo-matched. A size “54” fly tag along with a Maska Ultrafil label remain affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the Nordiques team crest in triple-twill, fleur-de-lys emblems grace the lower front and reverse, along with over each shoulder. The heavy-knit sweater has also been accented with dual-colour tackle twill numbers, with the important NHL 75th anniversary patch over the right breast. Sundin’ 1992-93 Pinnacle Team 2000 hockey card image has been matched to the horizontal stick mark that runs across the seam on the lower right side. An LOA will accompany.
Game-wear is heavy on the solid white v-neck, with a ton of puck and stick marks on the lower front, verso and sleeves. There are also a few small holes/slits over each sleeve, along with red goal-post paint transfer, predominantly over the right elbow and back right shoulder. The number #1 selection in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, Sundin would finish his second NHL season in 1991-92 with 76 points in 80 games played.
