Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Ranked number 63 on The Hockey News' list of The Top 100 NHL Players of All-Time, HOF goaltender Bernie Parent played in over a dozen NHL seasons, with the bulk of those spent in the City of Brotherly Love. This stick was used by the Montreal native in the 1977-78 season, and it’s been signed. A Sher-Wood model, “Parent B.” and “1” appear stamped-on, with the stick retaining its original white tape on the blade, paddle and knob. Just light use is exhibited, with the stick remaining in solid crack-free condition. There is also some staining/discolouration to the shaft just above the handle. Parent has signed along with a personalization across the tape on the top section of the paddle, adding the date of “2-14-78”.
