Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016

Another in the line of big bad Bruins, Zdeno Chara has spent 10 seasons in Beantown, winning a James Norris for his defensive efforts in 2009. This stick was used by the Slovakian in the late-1990s during his rookie era in New York. Expectedly long at 65”, the Vic Graphite model stick has “Chara” stamped on, along with a few factory codes. The stick retains its tape on the blade and gauze-style on the handle, with really nice use showing. There is wear to blade, especially along the bottom, along with a few other chips and marks on the lower shaft. A few names have also been written in marker along the shaft, and we should also note a chunk that has come out of the top section of the blade.
