The Flyers claimed their second straight Stanley Cup in 1975, knocking off the Buffalo Sabres in a five-game final one year after they beat the Boston Bruins to become the first modern expansion team to win the Cup. This limited-edition lithograph has been team-signed by the 1974-75 Philadelphia Flyers. The full team is pictured, with Clarke and Parent front and center clutching Lord Stanley’s prize. The players are tastefully listed below by jersey numbers sequence, with each signature administered in pencil with 23 total signatures including Clarke, Barber, Leach and others. With an image area of roughly 20” x 24”, the attractive display has been hand numbered 646/750 and double matted and framed to total dimensions of 28 ½” x 32 ½”. A Flyers golf bag will also be included in this lot.
Others who have signed this desirable Flyers lithograph are Parent, followed by Van Impe, Bladon, Dupont, Schultz, Kelly, Clement, Saleski, Dornhoefer, Joe Watson, Crisp, Clarke, Nolet, Lonsberry, MacLeish, Jim Watson, Goodenough, Harris, Kindrachuk, Taylor and Stephenson. Typed at the end are the names of deceased Flyers Ashbee, Flett and head coach Fred Shero. Both the lithograph and frame show no issues and remain in beautiful condition. The accompanying Flyers golf bag was produced by Sun Mountain and it features an embroidered Flyers logo with “Alumni”. At 36” in height and in gorgeous condition with no issues, this bag is ready to be used or displayed.
