Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Featuring the first Russian player to score 1000 NHL points, we have an elegantly mounted skate that was worn by Sergei Fedorov, and it’s been signed. A Nike model skate, rubber identifiers are present on the back and on the outer side, with an additional swoosh emblem that’s been stenciled on the Tuuk Plus blade holder. Showing just light use, Fedorov has signed the white leather section of the outer side, with some slight fading to the signature visible. Mounted to a two-tiered textured Masonite base at roughly 21” x 11” x 2”, the skate displays extremely well, with wear completely around the base where the second tier has been added. A handwritten note from the general manager of Nike’s hockey division will be included.
