This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
A high scoring affair, the 30th Vanier Cup for Canadian university football supremacy was played in 1994, with the Western Ontario Mustangs edging the Saskatchewan Huskies 50-40. This 10K gold ring made to commemorate the victory was presented to Chris Harhay. Size 12 with a weight of roughly 36 grams, a mustang in motion surrounded by 90 points of diamonds covers the face, encompassed by “National Champions” and “1994”. One shank features “Harhay” above with “UWO” and “60” below, while the opposite shank has an embossed image of the Vanier Cup along with the game’s score. "Intergold 10K" is also stamped on the inside band. An LOA will accompany this visually stunning Vanier Cup ring.
A number of small scratches cover the outside band, with dirt present within grooves. There are also some additional scratches present along the inside band, with some light additional wear along edges.
