With well over a century of tradition, Canada’s Grey Cup was first awarded in 1909 to the U of T Varsity Blues. Since that time, Winnipeg has made the most Cup appearances, while Toronto has won the most titles. This lot contains a collection of 16 Grey Cup programs, spanning from 1974 to 2002. We have examples for 1974, 1975, 1978, 1983, 1984, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 2002. The 1975 program is accompanied by a pair of nice ticket stubs, while the example from 2002 has been signed by 3 on the cover. The 1995 program also has a pair of festivity pamphlets that are included. The majority remain in beautiful condition, exhibiting just very light handling. The examples with condition issues are as follows. 1) 1975 program. Cover crease with light wear and toning. 2) 1984 program. Staining to the front cover, with slight water damage. 3) 1989 program. A few creases are present along with spine wear. 4) 1974 program. Light creasing to the front and back covers. Also included we have a Regina Magazine from 1995, highlighting the Roughriders Grey Cup win, along with a pair of Argonauts programs, one from 1977 (low grade) and an example from 1997 that highlighted the 1996 Grey Cup.
