Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Originating from the heyday of the Broad Street Bullies in the mid-1970s, we have a stick used by HOFer Bobby Clarke while with the Philadelphia Flyers. A Sher-Wood Pattern Made model, “B. Clarke” and “16” appear stamped-on along with “88” on the butt end, with the stick retaining its tape on the blade and knob. Great use is exhibited, with wear and chipping to the blade along with marks to the shaft including wear to the screened-on identifiers. Both the upper and lower striping stickers also remain mostly intact. Clarke would average well over a point-a-game in this era, with a plus/minus rating as high as +79!
