Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Widely considered as one of the greatest hockey games ever played, the 1975 New Year’s Eve tilt between the Habs and the Soviet Red Army saw a dominant Montreal team humbled by an unbelievable goaltending performance from a young 23 year old Russian named Vladislav Tretiak. Included is a program from the memorable game, along with a pair of ticket stubs. The 64 page program itself is complete and in very good condition with intact center line-up page, just showing regular wear from handling which includes a few small creases on the spine along with a few indentations. The 3” x 4” ticket stubs each carry a $15.00 purchase price, and are a true “pair”, matching in sequence. Each displays beautifully despite some large creasing.
