Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016

Goalie Dan Bouchard was idolized by a young Patrick Roy when he manned the Nordiques’ crease at the old Quebec Colisee. Bouchard’s circa 1981-82 Nords game-worn road jersey with a cut fight strap sports has heat-screened white vinyl numbers and Fleur-de-lys, which are nicely preserved with very little cracking. Nice two-inch horizontal team repair below the double twill team crest on the front featuring blue thread embroidering. More game wear on this early NHL Nordiques beauty includes pilling on the collar and marks on the sleeves. Large embroidered Maska logo sits on the rear hem and the washing instruction and size 56 flag tag remains in the neck. Comes with an LOA.
There is some yellowing to the numbers and fleur-de-lys, most noticeably on the left sleeve and side of the jersey. There is minimal vinyl loss, mostly on the surname letters on the nameplate on the back.
