Acquiring a mind-boggling 5 Stanley Cups during the 1980s, Grant Fuhr would later take his talents to Toronto, Buffalo, Calgary and St. Louis. This Blues jersey was worn by the Spruce Grove Alberta native in his first year under the Gateway Arch, 1995-96, and it’s been photo-matched. CCM with size tagging sits along the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Accented with attractive tackle twill numbers and a clean team crest, the jersey also features matching trumpet patches over each shoulder. The team stamp resides on the inside hem along with a hologram from BlueNote numbered 003273, and a matching LOA will accompany. The original BlueNote store price tag is also included.
Game-wear consists of a few scattered dark marks, along with three slits, with a pair near the team crest, and a lone example on the front section just beneath the right shoulder. As previously mentioned, this garment has been photo-matched. The image from Fuhr’s 1995-96 Topps Stadium Club hockey card has been matched to the two unrepaired holes at the left of the team crest, and to the washed out black mark near the unrepaired hole nearest to the team crest.
