A product of the Halifax Mooseheads in the Q, goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere went on to win a Conn Smythe Trophy in 2003 before winning a Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007. This Anaheim jersey was worn by the Montreal native in 2005-06, and it’s been photo-matched. “Goalie Style” along with size tagging sits affixed to the collar, with Reebok and NHL crests on the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Game-wear consists of a few large black marks, most likely from sticks, with examples on the right shoulder, upper and lower right sleeve and just beneath the left shoulder. A MeiGray patch numbered C00264 sits on the back bottom hem, and a matching LOA will accompany.
Styled with the “embossed” Ducks team crest in use from 1993-2006, the “White Set 2” jersey has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill numbers along with matching alternate logos over each shoulder. As mentioned, this garment has been photo-matched. Getty images 56960721 and 56960738 from Jan 19th 2004 have been matched to the black mark near the 3 of 35 on the right sleeve, while Getty image 56629780 also from Jan 19th, has been matched to the two loose threads in the nameplate on the left bottom sides of letters GU of giGUere.
