Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Original St. Louis Arena single seat lot includes a plaque signed by HOFers Glenn Hall and Bernie Federko and fellow Blues greats Curtis Joseph and Garry Unger. The yellow seat, which comes with sturdy metal footing, has the number “6” affixed to the seat back of this battle-tested beauty that was installed prior to the Blues’ inaugural season in 1967-68. Hall, Federko, Joseph and Unger have each signed the “ticket” portion of the “Home of the Blues, 1929-1994” plaque that indicates the seat was removed from Section 115, Row K after the Blues’ final season in the grand old arena. Comes with newspaper clipping of seat sale and copy of plaque invoice.
Cushioned seat has a good-sized dent on its metal bottom that only adds to its appeal as witness to St. Louis sports history and does not diminish its display.
The “St. Louis Arena” wood plaque featuring the banner signed by Hall, Federko, Joseph and Unger measures 15” x 12”.
