Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
From their time in the Gateway to the West, we have a pair of game-used sticks from Grant Fuhr and Curtis Joseph while with St. Louis, along with a stick that was issued to Fuhr. The Fuhr and Joseph game-used sticks are Franklin and Louisville models respectively, with each player having their name stamped-onto the upper shafts. Both sticks retain their original tape on the blades and knobs, with the Fuhr example heavily cracked/broken near the bottom of the paddle. Both sticks show thorough use, with numerous puck marks on the taped areas of each blade along with on the lower paddle sections. The Fuhr issued stick is a Christian Superlite Pro 100 model in blues colours, with “Fuhr” factory graphics appearing on the upper shaft. With just light wear to the shaft, the stick remains in beautiful condition. We should add that both Fuhr sticks have affixed price tags of $150.00 from the Blues team store, while the Joseph stick exhibits a date stamp on the underside of the shaft of “Sep 17 1991”.
