Three trophy pucks are here for your consideration from Gilles Tremblay, Serge Aubry and Christian Bordeleau, with each mounted to a tasteful display. 1) Christian Bordeleau’s 1968-69 Montreal Canadiens 1st NHL goal puck trophy. At just under 13”, the puck has been mounted to a trophy base with a generic player above, and a gold-coloured plaque below that states the particulars in French including the date of the match (March 13th 1969) and opponent (Minnesota). This type of puck was used by the Habs from 1964-67, with a left-over supply most likely seeing use in the 1968-69 season. The puck remains in beautiful condition with a prefect Canadiens logo, with “Christian” handwritten in the Art Ross label. A few components of the trophy (including the puck) are currently loose. 2) Gilles Tremblay trophy puck. The puck has been mounted to a wooden display shield with a plaque that states “Gilles Tremblay/1957-58/Ottawa – Hull/Canadiens/MVP”. The puck shows wear, with the 11” shield in excellent condition. 3) Serge Aubry shut-out puck. A Tulsa Oilers game puck has been added to a small wooden base with plaque (currently detached) that states “Serge Aubry/Shut Out/Tulsa 6 Okla. City 0/Dec. 12-1969”. The puck shows light wear along with the base, with some staining to the plaque.
