Perfect for display with any quantity of Quaker Oats hockey photos, we have a collection of 5 premium booklets all originating from the 1940s. These books enabled young fans to purchase neat premium items like rings and pennants. We have both Leafs and Habs booklets for 1948-49 (4” x 7”), featuring Teeder Kennedy and Butch Bouchard respectively. There is a “How to play Better Hockey” booklet from 1948-49, with both Syl Apps and Hap Day on the cover, an instructional booklet in French from 1947-48 and a small 3” x 6” premium booklet from 1949-50 with Maurice Richard on the cover. The majority exhibit just regular handling wear, which can include toning, surface/corner wear with the odd crease. The Day/Apps booklet is missing a piece of the cover, with an edge tear and spine damage. The cover is also detached.
